Framing Originals
If you are purchasing an original piece of artwork I'm going to assume you want to display it in style! With the expertise of my friends at The Grapheteria we can custom frame your chosen piece to compliment the space you want to hang it in and really make the artwork pop. Just let me know you want custom framing when you contact me by e-mail to purchase an Original Art piece. Professional framing is a separate service that will be calculated and added to your order total.

I would be happy to custom frame your Giclée Print! I charge an additional $15 fee on all framed prints for the extra time spent traveling to The Grapheteria and photographing frames. Cost of the frame is separate. The total expense for a framed print will be the cost of the print+$15 fee+cost of frame+shipping.

ALL shipments come with $100 of included insurance but more coverage can be added. Although your product will be packaged as safely as possible, if it's damaged or lost I will not be able to refund your order, so I highly recommend it. I will make sure you are aware of this when you contact me with interest in buying an Original Art piece. Insurance can be applied to cover the cost of framing if you have chosen to purchase professional framing. The cost of insurance will be calculated on an individual basis and added to your order total.
Shipping is insured by UPS, my chosen shipper at this time. You can read more about UPS's Declared Value insurance here. Last estimated cost of insurance: First $100 free. Further coverage $2.25 per additional $100 of claimed value. |
Pricing
For now, I have decided not to charge for the legwork I will be doing to transport Orignal Art pieces to and from The Grapheteria for custom framing or to drop off completed framed orders for final shipment. What you are charged for framing is at-cost, plus a 2.9% +30 cents online transaction fee, or 3.9% for international customers.
Currently, online payments are taken through PayPal. Invoices will be delivered via e-mail. A PayPal account is NOT required. Estimates
Cost of framing will vary greatly for each artwork depending on the size of the piece and the style of frame. When you contact me with interest in framing a print or original I will need to know the kind of frame you are envisioning for your chosen piece. The type of glass used will be a major factor in cost.
Color, width, depth, texture... these are all details that will help me understand what to look for and accurately estimate the cost of your frame. If you are working within a certain budget be sure to let me know the range. I will send photographed examples with prices of available frames matching your criteria via our contact method (e-mail or Facebook) and allow you to choose the style frame that is the perfect match for your taste and budget. Below is a slideshow of some photos I sent to a client who was choosing a frame for an Original Art purchase. My client instructed me to find a reddish-brown frame, preferably with a natural wood texture.
